Infant Program

Ages: 6 weeks to 12 months

Ratio: 1 teacher to 4 infants

School readiness begins in infancy. Our high-quality infants program combines all the essential elements of a warm, nurturing environment, learning, and family partnerships. From their first day at Learning Links, we will work to get to truly know the personality, preferences and developmental stage for each individual infant. We emphasize warm relationships and granular skills aligned to the objectives of development and learning, making every day routines and moments meaningful.

In our Infants Program, we focus on four of the nine key domains of development:

• Social/Emotional: Establishes and sustains positive relationships
• Physical: Develops awareness and age-appropriate use of body
• Cognitive: Engages in eye contact and emotional mirroring; shows earliest stages of curiosity and persistence
• Language skills: Develops awareness of speech and emotional tones; learns to respond to names; vocalizes sounds
