What Our Teachers Say

“Learning Links is a great place to work because we are such a strong team and we are all working towards the same goal of supporting the children in our program. We all support each other, and make sure we have the tools and resources we need as a team to be successful.”

Colleen Ovensgen, Teacher at Learning Links

“I feel supported as a teacher — they always have the welcome door open for the teachers so we can ask them questions every day. And if they don’t know the answer, they will look for it. So we feel like we are listened to and supported.”

Kathy Silva, Teacher at Learning Links

“What attracted me to Learning Links is a very warm environment. They are very respectful to everyone, and they have the best admin here. I feel supported as a teacher.  I have the best supervisor — she is always so supportive, understanding, and always listens to our concerns, and always tries her best to meet our needs and expectations.”

Phuong Ngo, Teacher at Learning Links

“As a teacher, one of the things that I really love about this program is that you feel support from the staff and the director. Sometimes as a teacher, especially when you don’t have enough experience, you need to learn from someone else. That’s one of the things that I see here. I feel that support from them, and that’s pretty exciting because that makes me feel confident.”

Marcy Martinez Yanez, Teacher at Learning Links

Better Together, Better with You

Our mission to accept, respect, and include people of all abilities extends to every member of our community. As an organization, we are committed to the lifelong process of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) learning and application as we continue to build a more inclusive culture.

Everyone plays a role in advancing DEI and has opportunities to represent themselves authentically. We aspire to use our advocacy to challenge ableism and all corresponding systems of privilege and oppression through our programs and services. We will always have work to do, and we look forward to doing it together.
